March Round Up & Easter Sundaes
a bumper newsletter including a new biscuit obsession and a recipe for a quick, chocolate free easter dessert.
Welcome back to Extra Sweet Things, a space for paid subscribers. Thank you as always for supporting my work in this way! If you’d like to join the party, consider upgrading your membership for additional recipes and newsletters.
Hello friends,
Somehow we’ve made it to the end of March and straight in to Spring, albeit with a wet and windy start here in London. This month has completely flown by and I had to scroll back through photos on my iPhone to remind myself of all the things I got up to. It’s less than one month to go until my cookbook, I’ll Bring Dessert is out in the world (!!) and the run up has been exciting but hectic. I always seem to forget just how much there is to do in the lead up to publication but here’s your gentle reminder to pre order your copy if you’ve not already done so! Pre orders make such a difference to authors and it means your book will arrive on your doorstop on publication day and you won’t be charged until it’s shipped.
A small change
So I’ve been on Substack for about two months now and I think I’ve pretty much found my feet on here. I’m still exploring some of the features and wanted to find out if you guys would like a chat for paid subscribers? A space where you can ask myself and each other baking questions or share things you’ve been making and enjoying recently? Let me know!
I’ll also be switching things up a little and sending out newsletters fortnightly instead of weekly! I don’t want to spam you guys and think that fortnightly will be a better pace for both myself and for you to actually be able to make the recipes! Free subscribers will get one recipe a month plus the occasional bonus content and paid subscribers will get an additional two to three recipes plus the monthly round ups.
In this week’s newsletter, paid subscribers have a recipe for the Easter weekend. My cherry & butterscotch sundaes with oaty, coconut-y flapjacks. If you’re looking for a relatively hands off dessert to serve this Easter then this would be perfect!
Right let’s get into it!
