Hello and welcome to Sweet Things! I’m Benjamina Ebuehi, a London based food writer, food stylist and author of 3 cookbooks. I’ve been developing and writing recipes for nearly 8 years and started my career in food back in 2016 after finishing as a quarter finalist on The Great British Bake Off! (Still can’t quite believe it’s been that long.) It’s been such a joy to be able to share literally hundreds of recipes over the years through my books, food magazines, Instagram and my baking column at The Guardian.

I’m incredibly excited to now be writing on Substack - it feels so refreshing to be on a platform that doesn’t require me to churn out 10 second reels every day in order to be visible. I’ve missed connecting with people in more than just a quick caption and I’m looking forward to sharing more with you on here and having fun with it at a sustainable pace.
